Poet and essayist Adrienne Rich was one of America’s foremost public intellectuals. Her commitment to social justice, radical feminism and the anti-war movement were legendary in a career spanning seven decades until her death in March 2012. Seni Seneviratne leads an informal reading of favourite extracts from Rich’s poetry and prose, chosen by Festival authors and audience members.
